Goals & my future

I have always pictured myself as a teacher since third grade where I was inspired by my teacher. Although I have not been in the classroom to teach yet, I picture myself as a kindergarten or first grade teacher. I work with five year olds over the summer and I love working with them. I have always pictured being in a school around the suburbs of where I live. Now that I started this minor along with my major, I can picture myself in an ESL classroom with twenty students or so.
All of my TESOL classes have been a challenge to me, but I find the information interesting. As I have begun to read the chapters in the book, I can already tell how much I am going to pick up from this class. I want to learn how to become the best teacher for my students, especially if they are learning English for the first time. Young children's minds are like sponges, so I want to be able to give them as much correct and important information as possible. I want to learn methods in this class that will give me techniques and tips on what to do with my students and what not to do with them.
I want to be able to gain as much information as I can that will help me in my future classroom. I think one of the most important aspects from this class that I want to gain is different methods to use while teaching my ESL students. I want to make sure my future students gain knowledge in my classroom in the correct manner.
